Dick Jergen here and I recently went on a couple of online dating sites to see if I could find me a cougar to have fun with!  I created 4 profiles on several online dating sites (i won’t mention to keep competition away), and really sucked at doing it.

I think I got a total of 2 replies from woman that I wasn’t exactly looking for. One was waay to old for my taste (I’m 32 yrs) and the other just wasn’t my type.

One of my online buddies emailed me this site where this dude teaches you how to make the best out of your profile. To my surprise, it worked! Last week, I got 10 replies back on one dating site! Wow!

All 10 were hot cougars in my area that were ready to have some fun with me .
All I did was read this dude’s book, watch a couple of videos on how to really catch a cougar online, and a week later, 10 catches!

Online dating sites are becoming more excepted nowadays and there are lot’s and lots of hot cougars that go on these sites needless to say. One of the cougars I went out with was a former model who was smoking hot 47 year old. She had long legs, nice long hair and a body that wouldn’t quit!

I couldn’t believe she was 47. We are going out again for New Year’s, but what I didn’t tell her was I have another date early that night with another hottie! I can’t believe the luck I’m having, and this is just one week using this dude’s technique!

There is no reason why it can’t. But if your concerns are more with age, than it will matter. Of course we are talking about two adults who are of age. Nothing that would get you arrested of course.

Being an older woman dating a younger man seems to create some sort of taboo lifestyle. In fact in a recent survey, over one-third of that survey which was about 50,000 women, said they are attracted and would be open to dating a man 10 years younger than her. There is a suspicion that that number would be higher had we lived in a society which was more receptive of such dating practices.

Initial yes, when a woman searches out specifically for a younger man, it usually the assumption that it is just for a physical relationship. Younger man equals supposedly more fun and greater vitality, which is what a recent 40 something year old, recently divorced woman is looking for.

Nothing serious,just fun. But can it work? The simple answer to that question is yes. Sure initially we look at the aspect of having fun and and having great sex with a younger man, but after that, it depends if both parties are looking for something deeper.

In another words, it goes back to some of the basic methods of finding a person whom you can be compatible with. Does age matter? No, unless your just looking for sex. This equation isn’t complicated at all, but we women like to think it is.

“How will it look” or “will others think he’s my son instead of my lover”, or whatever it is. It would be wise just to place age aside and focus on what makes you happy and if you are actually compatible with the younger man whom you are thinking of having a relationship with!

Yes, for some of the younger cougars who have live in children, than this can create a sense of secrecy or a caution for their sake. But keeping an open line of communication with them, can help ease the transition to having another special person in your life. Easy, no. But doable, yes.

So before you going back out to the dating world and in this case, looking for a younger man, think first of what your objective will be when you start dating. Make sure your mindset is clear on what it is your are trying to do when you go back into dating again.

Also keep an open mind about things. No matter how you prepare for something, life has a funny way of throwing in surprises that you’ve never expected!

Cougar dating and reality television was bound to happen sooner or later. So for all you fans of either of these segments, stay tuned as the reality show is in the works to air sometime in the 2009 television programming.

No word on who will be hosting the show and how the plans to base its reality tv show on. Whether it’s hooking up older women (cougars) and younger men up, or whether it’s showing how actual cougar couples live their lives hasn’t been determined yet. But I wouldn’t be suprised if there is a little of both.  

Seeing how reality television usually shows conflict and abrasive content, it would seem logical to show them living and dating as their lives playout on the big screens. Whatever it is, the stage is set for an interesting show that promises to shed more light in what is becoming more than just a fad.

Also, no word yet on participants or where they could interview to be in the new reality television show, but as mentioned, we’ll list here when we know.

Word out in the hollywood scene says “Dancing With The Stars” partners Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough are getting kinda cozy together. Shannon is 34 and Hough is 22 were spotted on Malibu beach a couple of days ago kissing and carrying on with each other. Should it become official there will be quite a stir around t.v. land as a prior couple (Hayden Panettiere, 18, started dating her “Heroes” co-star, Milo Ventimiglia, 30) found romance on the Dancing with Stars show earlier this year.

The two were said to be intensly kissing on the beach while embracing and having a hot romantic moment as on-lookers photographed and watched from a distance. Keep on eye on this one as this one as the last “young” cougar couple caused a lot of stir when they hooked up.

Many younger men like to date older women just for the fact that it sends volumes of ego boosting confidence to their manhoood. It shows that they have it so much together that an older, successful, attractive and mature woman of your stature is interested in him.

There is also a strong belief to younger men that older women have the “experience” that maybe younger women their age just hasn’t gotten yet. Now this by no means, in the bedroom, but  in many other aspects of life.

Sometimes it can be somewhat of a relief for a younger guy to see his more mature girlfriend take charge of situations that even the man has yet to encounter. This also takes pressure off the younger guy because there is a sense that more mature women are less dependant on them as they may not know the answers themselves.

So carrying yourself with confidence is a big factor as to why younger men are attracted to older more mature women. Exercise your experience in situations that would benefit and assist a younger man, without being too much of a control freak. This gives a younger man sort of the training wheels he’ll need in the future with much more larger decisions that he’ll need to make later in his life and possibily in a longer term relationship with you.

I was watching a show where they say Age isnt nothing but a Number…. now whe a older guy date a younger women do you thing she dating him for the simple fact that shes looking for a father figure/ Do you thing hes dating her because he has control issues?
